While the main campus of Boston College is located in Chestnut Hill, B.C. also offers the Newton Campus location. The Newton Campus is primarily used for undergraduate housing and the law school among others.

The community of Newton is served by Newton-Wellesley Hospital and the city is well served by three modes of mass transit. The Light Rail, Commuter Rail and the MBTA bus service, meet all public transport needs of Newton commuters and visitors.
